Legal
Privacy policy
This policy explains how Juneau Cayenne BV (“nexxahealth”, “we”) handles personal data collected through this website. We are the data controller.
Who we are
Juneau Cayenne BV, Heidestraat 42, 2460 Kasterlee-Lichtaart, Belgium. VAT BE 0661.839.809. Contact: nicole@juneaucayenne.com.
What we collect
- Orders: organisation name, contact person, email, delivery address, VAT number and any purchase-order reference you provide.
- Launch list: your email address and, optionally, your organisation.
- VAT validation: the VAT number you enter is checked against the European Commission’s VIES register.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To take and fulfil your order and send your invoice — performance of a contract, and compliance with our legal (accounting and VAT) obligations.
- To send the launch note — on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers we need to deliver the magazine and run the business — our print and mailing partner, our bank and payment provider, and our website host. They act on our instructions as processors. The VAT number is transmitted to the EU VIES service for validation. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Invoicing and accounting records are kept for the period Belgian law requires (currently seven years). Launch-list data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Receiving the magazine without asking for it
We post nexxahealth to a curated list of people working on health and life sciences in Europe. If you are on that list, we hold your name, organisation and postal address, and we use them for nothing but posting the magazine. We rely on our legitimate interest in reaching the people the magazine is written for.
You can object at any time, and we will stop. Use the page for declining future copies or write to nicole@juneaucayenne.com. We need no reason and will not ask for one. After you object we remove you from the distribution list and keep only a note that you asked to be removed, so you are not added again by mistake.
Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct, delete or transfer your data, or object to a use of it. Contact us at nicole@juneaucayenne.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données).
Cookies
This site uses only what is needed to make the pages work. If analytics or other non-essential cookies are added later, we will ask for your consent first.
